 体験レッスンは30分2000円 Trial lesson is 2000 yen for 30 min.
大人も歓迎です。音楽を弾ける喜びは格別です。 I welcome adult students of any age.
大人は仕事前や帰りに追加料金なしで手ぶらでレッスンが可能です。For adult students taking lessons before or after work, violin rental is possible for free.
初心者にはバイオリンをレンタルしています。（応相談） For beginners, violin rental is also available.
ハイフェッツが生徒に指導したようにレッスンの時間を厳守出来る方を募集しています。 Like Mr. Heifetz's policy, students are asked to come exactly on time.
英語のレッスンを選択すると英会話学校と同じ実力がつきます。英語でのバイオリン指導を実施しながら英語の宿題を出します。2年で英検５級、4年で英検4級が受かる生きた英語が身に付きます。
優秀な生徒には必要に応じてアンサンブルや発表の機会を増やします。
For excellent students, there will be extra time allocated. I will teach overtime and do additional lessons if necessary within the lesson fee.
メソッドを型通りに進み毎週わずかに進むような方法では時間の無駄が多く何年も無駄に過ごしてしまうこともあります。音楽教室やグループレッスンは安いですが、個別指導の時間は実質5分程度ではないでしょうか。効率的に技術の向上ができるように指導し、才能のある生徒には最大限の配慮をします。読譜が苦手にならないように指導します。若干名の募集です。大人も歓迎です。楽しみながら上達できるように教えさせて頂きます。In group lessons, students usually have only 5 minutes with the teacher. Private lessons are more effective. Some teachers spend wasteful time making students play every piece in the Violin Method when the student can play something more chanllenging. This will not be the case.
ブランクがある大人の方に月２回、単発も可能です。子供や学生は月４回のみ。
グループレッスンはありません。
英語でのレッスンの場合はレッスン時間が増えます。上記に＋４０００円/月となり、レッスン時間が増えます。英語専用のノートをご用意頂き、英語の補足や単語力をつけさせ無駄がないように配慮します。英語の宿題も希望があれば出しています。英会話教室に行く必要は以後なくなり、英語が得意科目になります。
他の教室で使っていた教本は無駄にしないで引き継ぎます。
※初級はザイツ作曲の協奏曲までとさせて頂きます。Intermediate Level starts from those who finished playing the Violin Concerto for Students, composed by Seitz.
※優秀な生徒に発表やアンサンブルの機会を同じ費用内で増やします。頑張る子には良い事が起きます！
For excellent students, there will be extra opportunities to play and do emsembles.

・レッスン当日と前日のキャンセルは全額頂きます。不幸などやむを得ない事情の時はご相談ください。
・事前に分かっている予定がある場合はレッスン日の変更はできますのでご相談ください。
・レッスンは月4回です。 （大人のみ単発や月2回レッスン可）
・一度お支払頂いた金額は返金しません。
・無断欠席は厳禁です。
- Cancellation of the lesson on the day and the day before will be charged for one lesson. If you would like to request changes, please let me know at least 2 days in advance.
- Paid fee will not be refunded. Please schedule for a make up lesson.
- There will be 4 lessons per month. 1 or 2 lessons per month are possible only for adult students.
- No show without notice is unacceptable.

いなば ともこ Tomoko Inaba
バイオリンを6歳よりニューヨークの音楽院で始めました。。その後日本で個人レッスンを受け研鑽を積み、都立武蔵高校卒業後、大学はアメリカの名門、カリフォルニア大学ロサンゼルス校（UCLA)で経済を学びながらバイオリンの練習に励み、遊ぶ時間は全くありませんでした。UCLA卒業後は名門エール大学のバイオリン科の大学院に行く選択も視野に入れて当大学のバイオリン科の教授とは連絡を取っていました。しかし、ビジネスの世界に生きようと決心し帰国しました。
UCLAに在籍中に20世紀最大の巨匠であるヤッシャ・ハイフェッツのアシスタントを長年担当したClaire Hodgkinsに師事しました。Hodgkins氏には頻繁に生徒候補がオーディションしに来ていましたが、私が師事していた時には多くて５名くらいしか教えていませんでした。Hodgkins氏は巨匠ハイフェッツの指導を受ける前に事前にレッスンをしたりとUSC(南カリフォルニア大学）でハイフェッツの右腕として活躍したバイオリニストでした。そのレッスン方法は無駄を省いた高度な技術を身につけられる内容であり、同時に演奏家としてどのように演奏すべきかに集中し心に訴える個性のある演奏ができるように指導していました。現在はHodgkins先生が生前所有していた楽譜を全て受け継いで管理しています。
バイオリンはハイフェッツの弟子であるSherry Kloss、Yukiko Kamei、ユージン・フォドア（Eugene Fodor）、などの教授陣にも師事する。レコードやCDを多数出しているルッジェーロ・リッチ(Ruggero Ricci)とイヴリー・ギトリス（Ivry Gitlis)と親交がありました。
2011年に恩師で巨匠ハイフェッツのアシスタントを長年務めたClaire Hodgkins（クレア・ホジキンズ）が死去。恩師の所有していたバイオリニストの命とも言われる楽譜を全て相続しました。
バイオリニストになることは帰国後も強く勧められたが、ビジネスの世界で通訳をはじめ、企業のコンサルタントとして活躍していました。英語でのレッスンや多くの外国人も指導もしてきました。直近では両親の介護とコロナで教室は長期のお休みをしていましたが、2025年にレッスンを小金井市で再開しました。
英検1級、ＴOEIC：985点 TOEFL: 647点 （TOEFL iBT換算では113)
コロナと介護で長らくレッスンは不可能でしたが、２０２５年から生徒募集を再開しました。連絡をお待ちしております。
英語でバイオリンレッスンもおすすめ
子供や帰国子女には英語でのバイオリンレッスンをお勧めしています。茗荷谷で教えていた時には外国人の生徒も複数在籍していて交流を促進していました。英語でレッスンを受けていれば自然と英語を理解できるようになります。帰国子女ではない生徒には英検4級合格を同時に目指すことも可能です。バイオリンで耳の訓練をしているため英語の聞き取りも得意になります。
PROFILE
Tomoko Inaba started taking violin lessons at age 6 while living in New York. At age 8, her teacher at the concervatory asked whether Tomoko can stay in the U.S. for further training. Although this was not the case, er studies continued in Japan until she attended college in Los Angeles.
In Los Angeles, she became a student of Claire Hodgkins, long-term teaching assistant to Jascha Heifetz. Jascha Heifetz is known to be the best violinist of the 20th century. Tomoko took private lessons as she studied economics at UCLA. During her studies with Miss Claire Hodgkins, she also studied with violinists such as Sherry Kloss, Yukiko Kamei, and Eugene Fodor.
Upon graduating UCLA, Tomoko was strongly recommended to continue studies in the U.S. to become a violinist, but she decided to focus on business. Tomoko is currently teaching students when she has spare time. Having seen many talented students suffer and waste time from not meeting the "right" teacher, the focus of teaching is playing with style and have practical lessons. Depending on the method used by the preivous teachers, Suzuki method can be used but the students will learn to read music. .
Tomoko also was a board member of Jascha Heifetz Society, a non-profit educational organization based in California. Through her activity, she also became acquainted with famous violinists around the world such as Ivry Gitlis and Ruggero Ricci who were friends of Heifetz.
